How can I become a member?
Bishop Stewart receives new members into the covenant body at the end of our worship experiences. You may also visit Member Services if you would like to become covenant with ALARM.
Is the ministry family oriented?
Yes. ALARM has ministries to minister to every aspect of the family unit: Men’s Ministry, Women’s Ministry, Teen’s Ministry, and Kingdom Kids. We also have a dynamic marriage ministry. We offer Kingdom Kids children’s church during our Sunday and Wednesday worship experiences. Our teens meet every Wednesday night during our empowerment services, and on Sunday they enjoy the worship experience with the adults. We also encourage them to become active in the Sunday worship experience by serving on one of our dynamic ministries (e.g. Ushers, Greeters, A/V, etc.).
I am a new member. What do I do now?
If you have not done so already, your first step is to become acquainted with our ministry by attending our New Member Orientation classes. Visit Member Services or send an email to memberservices@alarmministries.org for more information on getting started. If you have already begun your NMO classes, your next step is to become spiritually employed. This simply means to become active in ministry so become an integral component of the vision and allow God to use your gifts, skills, and talents to enhance and prosper the vision. Member Service has a list of ALARM’s ministries and is ready to match you with the perfect ministry that suits YOU!
Does the ministry provide transportation?
Yes. Simply call 850.216.1800 at least 48 hours before the worship experience you would like to attend, leave a message with your name, number and service you want to attend, and someone will contact you to schedule transportation to and from service.
Can I view the worship experiences online or on television?
Previously ALARM had a Sound the ALARM television broadcast, as well as a radio program. However, we are in the process taking our broadcast to a greater level of excellence by capitalizing on the current trends in broadcasting and social media. Therefore, we do not currently stream our services on the internet and we are not on television. However, we plan to begin streaming our services in the near future. Please stay tuned!
Does ALARM have worship experiences in other locations?
No, at this time ALARM does not have worship services in other locations.
Can I make online contributions?
Yes. The Sow a Seed link to the right allows you to make online contributions to ALARM. The link also explains other ways you may make contributions to ALARM.
Does the ministry provide food and/or clothing?
Yes. Every 4th Saturday ALARM distributes food and clothing from 9am until 11am. If there is an immediate need, you may call 850.216.1800, leave a message, and someone will contact you.
