MISSION POSSIBLE ENRICHMENT CENTER

The Mission Possible Enrichment Center (M.P.E.C.) is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization created and established by A.L.A.R.M. International Church to provide educational, rehabilitative, developmental, and other enrichment services to the local and regional community. M.P.E.C. is committed to developing a broad continuum of services in response to the needs of families and youth in crisis. We are also dedicated to providing services to individuals of various ethnic backgrounds and ages in the North Florida / South Georgia Region.

MPEC provides services to the community through four main service divisions:

  • Food, Health & Nutritional Services
  • Youth & Recreational Outreach Services
  • Senior & Elder Care Services
  • Family Enrichment Services

Some of our current community services include:

  • Food Bank (Food, Health & Nutritional Services)
Our Food Bank is open every 4th Saturday of the month from 9:00am to 11:00am. Monthly we serve hundreds of families from Tallahassee, Woodville, Wakulla, and Crawfordville with the support of Second Harvest and generous community donors. Yet, despite our best efforts, we still turn away countless families.

If you would like to make an impact in the community and help extend our reach, you can donate non-perishable food items and clothing by contacting our office at (850) 216.1800.

  • Boys 2 Leaders & Celebration of Girls (Youth & Recreational Outreach Services)
In a world of ever-increasing pressure and temptation, our youth are desperately in need of venues and forums that allow them to develop good character, express their creativity, and enjoy healthy fellowship with their peers. The Boys 2 Leaders and Celebration of Girls programs were developed with the purpose of empowering and strengthening youth in the local community through activities and events that promote self-confidence, the establishment of long and short-term goals, and the ability to navigate through life’s obstacles.

For more information about our Boys 2 Leaders and/or Celebration of Girls program, please send an email to info@alarmministries.org or call (850) 216.1800. You may also visit our event page to see upcoming activities and events.

  • SFSP Summer Meals (Youth & Recreational Outreach Services)
In partnership with Second Harvest of the Big Bend, we provide breakfast and lunch for children and families in the community during the summer school break.

As we continue seeking ways to make a positive, transformational impact in our community, we plan to offer the following services:

  • Restoration House – this is a program we offer to assist battered women and their children, in such cases, by providing temporary housing away from an abusive spouse.  The goal is to provide a safe, confidential environment in which a woman can transition into a safer environment away from the danger of spousal retaliation.
  • Second Chance – this program for the formerly incarcerated will assist with rehabilitation and reintroduction into society, job placement, and housing assistance with the intent of lowering recidivism and increasing successful transition back into society outside of prison.  This program will be available to both men and women.
  • Summer Enrichment Camp – a full-day summer camp designed to provide a fun, engaging bridge between school terms. We offer academic, recreational, and creative activities in a safe environment.
  • GED/Literacy Programs – in an effort to address the growing rate of high school dropouts and illiteracy, we will offer programs to assist individuals in obtaining a GED, as well as to overcome the debilitating problem of illiteracy.  As people are empowered to achieve an education they develop greater self-esteem and become more productive in society.
