AEC Leadership Summit Seminars

Hands-on Approach. Do you know the specific needs of those you serve and the citizens within a three-to-five-mile radius of your worship facility? Quite often, we are so focused on church that we overlook the community and the mission we have for them. Yes, we should pray for our community, but after we’ve prayed we must put our hands to work. The world around us may never hear how much we pray for them, attend our worship services, or give to our ministries, but they will know how much we care for them by how much they see us serve. All hands on deck! It’s time to serve.

If Your Church were Gone, Would Anyone Notice? As the church, we have a responsibility to not just make our presence known but to make our presence necessary. Our neighbors and community should see us an invaluable, integral contributors to their vitality, stability and prosperity. Therefore, we must wholeheartedly embrace our responsibility to become the axle upon which our communities turn—their source of hope, light and life beyond the Sunday worship experience. We must become so vital and invested that they work to ensure our presence remains.

Living by the Spirit, Instead of First Instincts or Impulses. Jesus sent the Holy Ghost to guide us into all truth—to take His place in our lives as teacher, counselor, helper, and more. Therefore, we realize and understand that in order to execute our mandate to go into all the world, we need the guidance of Holy Spirit. Those who are carnal live by instinct and impulse; however, those who are spiritual live by rhema and divine unction. Jesus, being full of the Holy Ghost, said, “Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word (rhema) from the mouth of God.

Occupy Til I Come. We have been called to steward creation—to be fruitful, multiply, replenish and subdue; and have dominion. As the body of Christ, our role is to bring about order, peace, and prosperity throughout all creation. Too often, we limit this to responsibility to the ecclesiastical realm when it rests on the shoulders of every believer, in every vocation. Therefore, we must fully employ business and industry as a means of addressing joblessness, poverty, injustice, and more. Kingdom ministries should strive to create businesses and promote entrepreneurship within their local assembly to transform, lift, and support the communities around them.

What Makes Chick-Fil-A Successful? Success is the result of consistent, intentional action toward a predetermined vision, goal, or desired outcome, and rarely is there one thing alone that causes success. While most would agree that Chick-Fil-A’s customer service is excellent, there is so much more that contributes to their success and longevity. This is our opportunity to learn some of the key practices, organizational philosophies, habits, and more that have allowed Chick-Fil-A to become such a successful Christian enterprise. The representative will have one (1) hour to unwrap and catapult the leaders into a new Kingdom thought pattern.
